Line Cook

Line Cook – Alpha Pitt Smokers (Yorktown, VA)

Alpha Pitt Smokers is hiring an experienced Line Cook to join our fast-paced, high-volume BBQ kitchen.

Pay: $15–$20/hr
Schedule: Full-time or part-time
Availability: Open availability required Weekends are mandatory

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute menu items to spec
  • Maintain speed, consistency, and quality during service
  • Keep station clean, stocked, and organized
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
  • Work as part of the BOH team
  • Assist with prep, breakdown, and closing duties

Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

  • Prior line cook experience preferred
  • Current ServSafe certification REQUIRED
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume kitchen
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Strong attention to food safety and cleanliness
